One day in the snow

It was six o’clock in the morning on the 28th February towards Font Romeu. Our coach was in calm, all the passengers were sleeping or watching the romantic comedy “Love actually”... But once there, I felt like arriving in our destination. When we finally got it, we suddently got off the bus and we had breakfast.
After this short meal, we put our snowboard on quickly and we touched for the first time after a year, the white, soft and cold snow. To get on the chair lift, it was like an adventure: first, we couldn’t let down the artifact which protected ourselves and, later, we fell in the exit. But eventually, we were just in time to descend the slope.
It was really gratifying to surf over the snow, slipping while the wind was flying through our hair. There’s no need to say that the falls were absolutely normal. We had good luck because the weather was excellent; the sun was shining all the time. After such a great day, we were exhausted and our body hurt everywhere. That’s why during the return we tried to sleep in that uncomfortable bus. It was really hard to wake up at five o’clock but the day was worth!

Moulin Rouge

I think that one of the best films I have ever seen is the musical drama Moulin Rouge of the australian director Baz Luhrmann. This fantastic movie was opened in 2001 and it received different awards, which stand out one Golden Globe for the best musical film, one Golden Globe for the best actress (Nicole Kidman) and one Golden Globe for the best sound track.
Moulin Rouge is set in Paris in 1900, sourrounded by the bohemian current and love (which is the main subject) of that time. This film is about a writer, Christian, who falls in love with an attractive courtesan of the Moulin Rouge’s cabaret: Satine. One night, and by chance, this two characters meet each other. But it all finishes when Satine realises that Christian isn’t the millionaire duke who had to persuade to finance one play. The writer offers her true love, meanwhile the rich noble offers her the possibility to become a famous actress. In my opinion, Moulin Rouge is a film that you can’t miss; it’s worth it to watch. This film combines some romantic and funny moments with others more dramatic that culmine in a perfect and unexpectable ending.

Summer

I know that is too soon to start thinking about it, but, of course, all the students wish that this season arrive: the summer.
This period of time when you feel more free than never, when you don’t have to stay close to your heavy books and pencils, when you just need a pair of sunglasses and a swimsuit to relax. It’s time for long trips and excursions with the family, for walks in the sea with the arriving of the evening, to care about yourself and forget all your problems. This fantastic season, which in the twinkling of an eye has finished, and carries on these three words: sun, water and energy. Mmhh, what memories! But now I realise that we are just in March and I ask myself... When will summer come?
